Michaela & Matt’s Bruisyard Hall late summer wedding gave me the opportunity to return to one of my favourite local venues – where I’m very honoured to be a recommended photographer.
Bruisyard Hall Late Summer Wedding
If you’ve ever visited my website before, you’ll know I have a definite soft spot for Bruisyard Hall, a proper hidden gem tucked away in the Suffolk countryside. There’s something about the house and grounds which, despite the grand facade, have a real homely, welcoming feel. The barn also works perfectly with wedding parties of all sizes. Plus if it the weather is slightly less than co-operative (as happened on a late summer day for Michaela & Matt), the main house still has bags of potential for some gorgeous portraits.
Enough from me – here’s a selection of photos from their day. Keep an eye out for the bird theme to their day, from Michaela’s earrings to her hand-painted table names (talented girl, eh!).
Credit where credit’s due: Michaela & Matt drew on the help of the following suppliers in planning their perfect day: Michaela’s soft and elegant dress was from the Willowby collection by Watters. Flowers were by the very talented Pick-A-Lilly whilst Michaela’s hair and makeup was looked after by Flamingo Amy, both of whom are based in Norwich. The couple married at Bruisyard Hall in the Suffolk countryside – one of my favourite places to photograph and where I’m very honoured to be a recommended supplier.
