Canterbury Wedding Photography – Claire & Karl’s day at Howfield Manor

Claire & Karl married at Howfield Manor hotel, just outside Canterbury in Kent. I grew up in Canterbury and always enjoy returning to the area so was delighted to be part of this happy day.

Claire got ready in nearby Challock before making her way to the hotel. However, she wanted to surprise their guests by making a grand entrance by horse drawn carriage but it was impractical to make the journey by horse power. Instead a friendly local camper van dealer allowed the horses and carriage to use their car park (what nice people). It’s also the first time the registrar had conducted her pre ceremony interview in such a location!

Here’s a selection of shots from their day, including some of that fantastic carriage, along with a gorgeous candle-lit first dance.

Suppliers. Venue: Howfield Manor, Claire’s Dress: Maggie Sottero
