I’d been looking forward to my very first Narborough Hall wedding photography trip and Laurence & Charlotte’s wedding didn’t disappoint. Everything about Narborough Hall is spot-on. The interiors are just wonderful and the house is surrounded by simply beautiful gardens and grounds. There’s even a lake with it’s own rowing boat! On the day I was well looked after by the Hall’s attentive staff and the food is delicious :-).

“We have already had a lot of fun looking through the pictures! You have without a doubt captured the incredible moments of the day … and lots of little things we didn’t have time to take in ourselves! Exactly what we were hoping for, including some brilliant photos of family members who are notoriously difficult to capture.” Laurence & Charlotte

This was a day full of personal touches. Iceland also played a pretty significant part in proceedings as Laurence proposed while they were on holiday there a couple of years ago. The table plan was based around places they’d visited, there was Icelandic beer served during the drinks reception, Laurence’s cufflinks were made from Icelandic coins and the couples first dance was to Hoppípolla by Sigur Rós. Special mention should also be made of the flowers for the day which, in the main, came freshly cut from the gardens at Narborough and expertly arranged by their own in house team. Really soft, romantic and utterly in keeping with the day.

Laurence and Charlotte booked me on the recommendation of a mutual acquaintance (thanks Pete). Most of my couples contact me after being recommended either by a venue, fellow wedding supplier or, best of all, a previous couple. I really value and am incredibly grateful for this and always try to pass on my thanks!

Credit where credit’s due – Laurence & Charlotte married at Narborough Hall near Kings Lynn in Norfolk. The beautiful flowers were picked from the gardens at Narborough Hall and beautifully arranged by their own in-house florists. Charlotte’s dress was by Maggie Sottero. Music for the ceremony and canapés was courtesy of UK Harpists and the fab multi-flavour cake was by Sweet P Allergen Free Cakes of Cambridge

It was a privilege to have been part of Laurence & Charlotte’s day and it’d be great to have the opportunity to return to Narborough Hall very soon. If you’re currently planning your own wedding here I’d love to hear from you!!!
