Some weddings have so much to write about I just don’t know where to start! A wonderful couple, stunning venue, gorgeous dress and last minute hitch which nearly wrecked the day. OK, so I’m going to try and keep this concise…
I met Louise at a wedding fair in Kent on a grey autumn day in 2012. We chatted briefly and I asked if she’d set a venue yet. Almost apologetically, Louise explained it wasn’t at the venue we were in, but an old music hall in London’s East-End…. In my mind, I have a list of places I would most like to photograph a wedding at. Mostly I keep it to myself, as to my way of thinking a wedding is more about the people than the venue and every celebration is unique. However… somewhere deep down a little bell rang.
‘Wiltons?’ I asked.
‘Yes’, the reply.
‘Please can I photograph your wedding?’
Thank you Louise & Gary, for allowing me the honour to record your day. Readers, please support Wiltons in whatever way you can, even if it’s just spending some time on their website and spreading the word about this piece of our collective social history which needs saving and cherishing.
If you’re planning your own celebration at Wiltons, or know someone who is, drop me a line. I’d love to hear about your plans and have a chat about how I could be part of your day. Either use the contact page or click on the email icon in the top right corner of this website.
In the meantime, it’s great to share. If you’ve enjoyed viewing these photo’s hit Like. Or live dangerously and leave a comment!
